ForumsGPT

You can request deletion of your ForumsGPT account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page also serves as the data deletion instructions for users who signed in with Google, Facebook, X (Twitter), or Apple.

How to request deletion

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Data removal request", including:

• your username on ForumsGPT, and
• the email address or social account (Google / Facebook / X / Apple) you used to sign in, so we can verify the account is yours.

For social logins, please send the request from the same email address that is linked to the social account, or include enough detail for us to verify ownership.

What gets deleted

• Your account record: username, name, email, hashed password, avatar, and any social sign-in identifiers (Google, Facebook, X, Apple).
• Your votes on AI responses.
• Topics you posted — deleted, or anonymized (author removed) if other content depends on them; tell us which you prefer.

Payment records processed through Stripe may be retained where required for accounting and tax law, but are disconnected from any public profile.

Timeline

We confirm receipt within a few days and complete deletion within 30 days of verifying your request. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Revoking social access

You can additionally revoke ForumsGPT's access from the provider side at any time:

• Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions
• Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites
• X (Twitter): Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions
• Apple: Settings → Apple ID → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple
